A little about myself....

I am the mother of SEVEN children, yes that's right I said SEVEN. My oldest has moved away from home to start her own family and my youngest still sleeps in a crib. Needless to say I not only have several years of personal childcare experience I have several more years of tending to the children of others.

I started my life only wanting to be a good mother, which I thought meant staying home to be a mom 24 hours a day. Well after listening to several other people, I went to college obtained a degree and moved into the working world. I did not like it..I liked my job and what I did, I just missed doing what I loved tending to the needs of children. After months of tossing around the idea I decided to go back to what I love caring for children.

Not only am I happy in my life's choices, I have bettered myself and my family by showing my children that it's never to late to try new things or old things again but that you don't have to settle for less in life to please others.

My life is settled around my family and the care and love I can provide to other children, while tending to them in my home.

I provide your child with a place that feels just like home, with lots of room to grow. We learn as we play and we play to learn. I don't focus on what your child can't do. I focus on what we can learn and what they will be able to accomplish in a few short weeks or even months which ever it may take. Our group is small with only six children in total. It may grow and it may not, we will see as time passes.

I don't send home reports on a daily basis, I tell you what we did, your child will share what they did in a day or even a morning, this gives you and your child something to talk about on the way home. If you ever have any questions or concerns my doors and other mean of communication are always open.

You will receive a monthly newsletter to keep you informed on the happening here at TaTa's. You will also be able to visit the site in case you lose your letters, this is open 24hrs unlike myself. You can always leave a note or comment and I will reply as soon as possible. Usually when the children are napping, very early morning or after hours.
